Loving beauty
We longed for the Virgin Moon
Yet, for years we could not find
one soon
One day a young girl came to our
sight
with beauty that was Hard to hide
When she smiled her charm appeared
rendered colorless all flowers’ sphere
In Summer morning
She was bathered in fresh pool
In a cool bed she watched the virgin
moon
O night too short, to early sunrise
rejoincing all days she never tired
Then the war cannon were heard
shaking the earth
her hairspins scattered over the Golden Park
death caught her among the departed
Since we see no more her jade face,
Only here’s the empty death place...
