Bỗng dưng, nghe phất phơ đời
nghe như có gió ngàn khơi thổi về
Hỏi thăm thầm đóa hoa lê
mới hay xuân đã tới kia, ven đồi
Nét mày, trăng thượng tuần soi
vàng hoe tóc, gái nhỏ cười dưới sân
Ô hay! thế giới đã gần
sao cô châu Á lại bồng bế em
Ô hay! rũ sạch ưu phiền
sao cây thay lá-đỏ liền lá xanh
Ô hay! trời đất chuyển mình
nghe xuân mang lại hòa bình ấm no
Con chim nó hót líu lo
mừng xuân đem trả tự do cho người
Bàn chân nhỏ bước ra chơi
tương lai: cháu ngoại đã cười rạng-đông

as if winds are coming from mountains and seas
Inquiries made to the peach blossom
so it is that spring's arrived at the mountain 's edge
Under the new moon shows up an eyebrow
Very yellow-haired girl laughs in the courtyard below
Oy! Has the world got so closed up,
that she from the East was now cuddling her?
Oy! Let's beat out the dust of wories
about trees wearing green, then red leaves
Oy! The earth and sky are turning
Do you sense peace and prosperity with the arriving spring?
The songbird, it twitters on and on
to celebrate this spring Freedom is returned
The baby steps are out at play
Tomorrow: grandchild's smile dawns the day.
